In the United States, 15 people were injured during an emergency landing due to turbulence.

A JetBlue airline plane en route from Cancun, Mexico to Newark, made an emergency landing in Florida after hitting a zone of severe turbulence, at least 15 passengers were hospitalized. This was reported by CNN on October 31.

The airline noted that the Airbus A320 aircraft was diverted to Tampa International Airport when turbulence was detected. Vivian Shedd, a representative of the Tampa Bay Fire Department, said that emergency personnel examined about 20 passengers, of whom 15 were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
