In the Indonesian city of Makassar, a crocodile dragged an employee of local oil palm plantations into the river. This was reported on October 31 by The Borneo Post newspaper.

"An oil palm plantation worker was brutally attacked by a crocodile, which dragged him into the river," the publication says.

According to the newspaper, the 47-year-old man was going to get water in order to fill the sprayer with pesticides, but at that moment he was attacked by a predator.

It is noted that search and rescue operations are underway at the scene. At the moment, the man's body has not been found.

Antara news agency reported on July 10 that a man was swallowed whole by a python in the Indonesian village of Majapahit. It is noted that the man was considered missing after he did not return home from the plantation. After the autopsy of the python, the body of a man was found by local residents.
