Roskomnadzor proposes to abandon the system of individual consent for the processing of personal data and introduce industry-specific regulatory standards. This was announced on October 31 by the head of the department Andrey Lipov.

"Here, we probably need to move from consents, when every citizen gives separate consent to each action of each company, to industry regulation, the establishment of industry standards," he explained.
