Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dismissed Olga Gatagova from the post of Deputy Minister of Agriculture at her request. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information on October 30.
"To dismiss Olga Anatolyevna Gatagova from the post of Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation at her request," the document says.
Gatagova was appointed deputy head of the Ministry of Agriculture in June 2019. Prior to that, she had been Director of the Administrative Department of the Ministry of Agriculture since June 2018. She joined it from Rosselkhoznadzor, where she has been director of the Administrative and economic Department since 2012.
Earlier, on October 21, Mishustin dismissed Vasily Osmakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. The document was signed on October 15. The reason for Osmakov's dismissal was his transfer to another job.
