The fourth magnetic storm this month has begun on Earth. This was announced on October 30 at the Laboratory of Solar Astronomy at the Institute of Space Research (IKI) of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

"The fourth and probably the last magnetic storm of October has begun on Earth. Before that, storms were observed from 1 to 3, then on the 12th and then from the 18th to the 19th. The number of magnetic storms is increased for the second month in a row: before that, five storms occurred in September after a decline in late summer," the Laboratory's Telegram channel reported.

It is specified that at the moment the storm's power is estimated as G1, but it may intensify to the level of G2. At the same time, the area of the aurora borealis has significantly increased, which have dropped to the latitudes of Moscow. However, according to scientists, this situation is unlikely to last until the evening.
