The Polish Armed Forces announced the alleged interception of the Russian Il-20 over the Baltic Sea

The Polish Armed Forces reported that the country's air force allegedly managed to intercept a Russian Il-20 aircraft over the Baltic Sea. The Polish Armed Forces wrote about this on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

"On October 28, 2025, a pair of MiG-29 fighter jets of the Polish Air Force successfully visually identified, intercepted and escorted a Russian aircraft flying over the Baltic Sea out of its area of responsibility," the publication says.
