The Moscow court arrested the singer Monetochka in absentia

A court in Moscow arrested the singer Monetochka (Elizaveta Girdymova, recognized in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) in absentia for evading the duties of a foreign agent. This was announced on October 27 by the press service of the Moscow Prosecutor's office.

"The court chose in absentia a preventive measure in the form of detention in relation to Elizaveta Girdimova, better known as "Monetochka". Gyrdymova was charged in absentia under Part 2 of Article 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evading duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents)," the prosecutor's office's Telegram channel says.
