On October 23, Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council, expressed the opinion that migrants should leave the Russian Federation after completing their tasks, and their stay in the country should strictly comply with the terms of the employment contract.

He also suggested improving the mechanisms for attracting foreign workers and noted that, first of all, it is necessary to create an effective system of organized recruitment of migrant workers.

"It is necessary for a migrant to stay in our country strictly in accordance with the terms of his employment contract and immediately leave its territory when his tasks are completed," Medvedev wrote on his channel in the Max messenger.
