The Russian hacker groups KillNet and Beregini announced the hacking of the servers of the largest Ukrainian manufacturer of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) "Fighting Birds of Ukraine". This was announced on October 23 by representatives of the group.

As the hackers told RIA Novosti, the attack, according to them, was aimed at the production facilities of a company known for its developments, including the Zozulya UAV. This device, with a range of up to 2,700 km, is designed, according to open sources, to hit targets deep behind enemy lines, including warehouses, command posts and logistics hubs. Zozulya flies autonomously at low altitude.

A KillNet representative claims that as a result of the attack, it was possible to gain access to the data of developers, engineers, management and testers of the company. Other information is being clarified.

Earlier, on October 21, the KillNet group reported hacking the database of one of the largest Ukrainian drone marketplaces for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, extracting personal data of employees. The hack was carried out after hackers gained access to the system of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
