- The analyst announced an increase in the cost of a car loan after an increase in recycling
Head of the expert analytics department of the financial marketplace "Banks. On October 22, Inna Soldatenkova told <url> that a possible increase in recycling, which is expected from December 1 of this year, is unlikely to lead to a sharp increase in demand for car loans, however, among some borrowers, interest in buying a car may increase in the coming months.
"In the car loan recruitment service in September, the number of applications increased by only 3% compared to August, while in August the increase was 10%. In October, the dynamics remains approximately at the level of September," she said in an interview with the Prime agency.
The expert clarified that car loan rates continue to remain at a high level. This, as Soldatenkova added, limits consumer demand and reduces the number of borrowers who have a good chance of approval.
In the <url> marketplace database, as of October 15, the average car loan rate was 24.4% per annum for new cars and 25.3% per annum for used cars, which restrains consumer activity.
According to Soldatenkova, rising car prices can lead to an increase in car loans and overpayments, because in order to service a car loan for a new car, its potential owner needs to have an income of at least 87 thousand rubles per month, and 89 thousand rubles for a used one. The optimal income level for the minimum risk of failure is from 145 to 148 thousand rubles.
The specialist recommended that people who want to buy a vehicle (vehicle) should not delay this process, including one of the ways to complete it — through a car loan.
On October 18, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation announced that it was considering the possibility of delaying the entry into force of all the provisions of the document concerning the new rules for calculating scrap collection for passenger cars. In a statement provided by the press service, it was noted that these innovations would not affect those importers who had already paid for recycling before the new regulations came into force.
