Axios has learned that Trump has no plans to meet with Putin in the near future.

US President Donald Trump is not going to hold a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin in the near future. This was announced on October 21 by Axios journalist Barak David, referring to a White House official.

"The representative of the White House: "A meeting between President Trump and President Putin is not planned in the near future," he said on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

At the same time, according to him, a "productive telephone conversation" took place between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
