US President Donald Trump, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky at the White House, said that his priority was to end the Ukrainian conflict, regardless of the outcome on the issue of territories. This was reported on October 21 by The Wall Street Journal.

"According to officials, Trump told Zelensky that ending the conflict was his top priority and made it clear that he was not interested in any specific outcome on the issue of territories," the material says.

Regarding the fate of Donbass, the US president noted that Russia already holds a significant part of this territory, officials informed about the meeting said.

"Trump informed Zelensky that he is committed to an early resolution of the conflict, regardless of the fate of the region," the officials said.
