Russian mixed martial artist Alexander Emelianenko has announced that he has been discharged from the hospital. The athlete told about it on his Instagram page (he is a member of Meta, the organization is recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).

Emelianenko noted that he had successfully completed the course of treatment, and his condition improved significantly after hospitalization. He also added that he was undergoing treatment at the medical center at Moscow State University.

"Thank you very much, doctors, for everything you do!" the fighter expressed his gratitude.

Earlier, on October 19, Emelianenko's manager Vakha Shankhoev reported that the athlete had been in a medical facility for several days. It was noted that the athlete had previously undergone spinal surgery. Then Emelianenko clarified that he had lost the ability to walk due to deteriorating health.
