Former US President Joe Biden made his first public appearance after starting radiation therapy for cancer. This was reported on October 18 by The New York Post.

"Joe Biden appeared in public on Saturday for the first time since the news broke that he was undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer," the article says.

According to the newspaper, he attended evening Mass at St. Joseph's Church on Brandywine. It is clarified that Biden slowly left the watch service, relying on a woman for support.

Earlier, on October 11, it was reported that Biden began undergoing a five-week course of radiation therapy.

On May 31, Biden announced the start of cancer treatment and added that the disease had not affected other organs. He shared that he felt good and was very optimistic.

Later, on September 4, NBC reported that Biden underwent surgery to remove skin cancer a few months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Mohs surgery is a surgical procedure that is often used to treat the most common forms of skin cancer.
