The head coach of the English football club (FC) Nottingham Forest, Angelos Postecoglou, was dismissed. This was announced on October 18 on the club's website.

"Nottingham Forest Football Club can confirm that Ange Postecoglou has been relieved of his duties as head coach with immediate effect," the statement said.

It is noted that this decision was made "after a series of disappointing results and performances." FC did not give any other comments.

In eight matches against Nottingham Forest, after the appointment of the 60-year-old Postecoglou, two draws and six defeats were recorded.

In addition, last season, the ex-coach led Tottenham FC to victory in the Europa League, while the team showed its worst ever result in the English Premier League (Premier League) and took 17th place. Postecoglou was also later fired.

On October 6, Sergei Nekrasov was appointed General Director of the Spartak football club. It is noted that since 2001, Nekrasov has been the head of Lukoil's Department of Financial Institutions and Capital Markets for 10 years. In addition, he repeatedly participated in veteran tournaments with the Spartak legends.
