A woman was injured in the village of Lozove as a result of shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). Vyacheslav Gladkov, Governor of the Belgorod Region, wrote about this on October 18 in his Telegram channel.

"In the village of Lozove, a woman was injured as a result of the arrival of ammunition on the territory of a private household. Local residents took out the victim in serious condition and handed her over to an ambulance team," the report says.

According to Gladkov, the woman suffered a mine-explosion injury, as well as through-shrapnel wounds to her hip and a wound to her arm. An ambulance took her to the regional clinical hospital, where doctors are providing the necessary assistance in the intensive care unit.
