Russian-born Australian boxer Nikita Tszyu, the son of boxer Konstantin Tszyu, was involved in an accident. This was announced on October 14 by Tim Ashworth, a representative of the No Limit Boxing promotion company.

"[Nikita] Tszyu had an accident at the weekend. The car he was in collided with another car at an intersection," the BoxingScene portal quoted him as saying.

Ashworth added that the boxer is recovering at home with his family. Konstantin Tszyu, in turn, clarified that his son was not injured and has no health problems.

"The car accident was not very serious, and my son Nikita was not injured in it. His health is fine," Kostya Tszyu said in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

Tszyu's last fight took place on August 20 in Sydney, where he defeated Lulzim Ismaili from North Macedonia by technical knockout in the first round. Nikita Tszyu, the son of Russian boxer Konstantin Tszyu, has won 11 victories in the professional ring, nine of which by knockout. There has never been a defeat in his career.
