Sony has applied for registration of three brands in Russia

Sony, which manufactures electronics, has submitted three applications to Rospatent for trademark registration. This was reported on October 12 by TASS with reference to the department's database.

It is noted that the applications were submitted on October 3. The company wants to register its Walkman (player model), Bravia (TV brand) and Xperia (smartphones) brands.

According to data from the Rospatent database, the applications include logos of these brands. Trademark registration is carried out according to Class No. 9 of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS), which includes products such as music players, televisions, mobile phones and smartphones.

On September 24, it was reported that the American soft drink manufacturer The Coca-Cola Company may lose its trademark rights in Russia in October. According to information from the electronic database, the patent expires on October 31 of this year.
