Former US President Joe Biden is undergoing radiation therapy for cancer. This was reported on October 11 by the NBC television channel.

"As part of the prostate cancer treatment plan, President Biden is currently undergoing radiation therapy and hormone therapy," the article says.

It is noted that the course of radiation therapy will last five weeks.

Earlier, on May 31, Biden announced the start of cancer treatment and added that the disease had not affected other organs. He shared that he felt good and was very optimistic.

Later, on September 4, NBC reported that Biden underwent surgery to remove skin cancer a few months after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. Mohs surgery is a surgical procedure that is often used to treat the most common forms of skin cancer.
