The gunners of the Vostok group of forces destroyed the control center for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Dnipropetrovsk region. This was announced on October 11 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

According to the agency, the location of the antennas and drone control equipment was revealed with the help of aerial reconnaissance of the Russian Army (RF Armed Forces). According to the specified coordinates, the D-30 howitzer crews delivered targeted strikes.

As a result of the work of the Russian military, the control center, communication equipment and shelters with the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed, the Defense Ministry concluded.

Earlier that day, it was reported that units of the North group of forces had destroyed about 195 Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters in the Sumy and Kharkiv directions over the past day. During the operation, formations of three mechanized brigades, an air defense brigade and an assault regiment were hit in the areas of Korchakovka, Alekseevka, Yastrebin and Kondratovka in the Sumy region. In addition, Russian military personnel destroyed mechanized and motorized infantry brigades in the Kharkov area.
