The European company Airbus has set a new record: its A 320 aircraft has become the best-selling jetliner in aviation history. This was reported on October 7 by the Reuters news agency, citing data from Cirium.

"Shipments have reached 12,260 since the start of operation of the A 320 in 1988, according to reference data from the British consulting company Cirium, used throughout the industry," the publication says.

It is specified that the record was reached after the last A 320 was transferred to the Saudi airline Flynas.
