Versions of the disappearance of the missing Usoltsev family in the Krasnoyarsk Territory on the approach to Mount Pinocchio have been put forward. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Main Investigative Directorate (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Khakassia.
According to the investigation, there are three main versions of the family's disappearance. According to the first one, the Usoltsevs got lost in a thick fog when the air temperature dropped below zero and visibility became "practically zero."
According to the second, the head of the family, Sergei Usoltsev, could feel unwell, so the family remained waiting for rescuers in one of the taiga shelters.
The third version talks about the activity of wild animals in the area of the family's disappearance. It is noted that wild boars, mountain goats live there, and bears and two packs of wolves were spotted during the search.
The search for the Usoltsev family in a wooded area near the Minsk Loop was reported on October 2. It was clarified that they were looking for a man and a woman born in 1961 and 1977, as well as their five-year-old child. The family was moving towards Mount Pinocchio, but after five days of no contact with their relatives, their whereabouts were not found out. At the same time, the family's car was found soon after.
In addition, Oksana Zhdanyuk, a friend of the missing Irina Usoltseva, said that the family did not disclose the details of the planned walk, however, most likely, they changed the route. Later, on October 6, it was reported that two tourists saw the Usoltsevs on the approach to the mountain. According to them, everything was fine with the family.
