A disabled dog that was beaten by a man in Podolsk has a split postoperative suture. The owner of the animal told Izvestia about this on October 6.

According to the woman, it all started with the fact that she left her pet at home and briefly ran into her apartment on the ground floor. When the owner returned, the man had already beaten the dog.

"[The man] came up, picked up [the dog] — she jumped out of the stroller and hit the asphalt. A normal person can't do that. He doesn't even feel guilty," she said.

The woman added that the man who attacked the dog was intoxicated, and when he sobered up, he began to justify himself by saying that the dog allegedly bit him.

Earlier that day, it was reported that in Podolsk, a man beat a disabled dog who was moving on a special device due to paralyzed paws. A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Cruelty to animals"). It provides for a maximum penalty of up to three years in prison.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
