In Kiev, a driver threw a live grenade towards a colleague's bus at a parking lot in the Darnytskyi district. It is specified that the incident occurred due to a conflict with the driver of the mentioned vehicle. This was reported on October 6 in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian police.
"A man who threw a live grenade towards a minibus due to a conflict with a driver will be tried in Kiev. The incident occurred at the carrier's parking lot in the Darnitsky district," the report says.
No one was injured in the explosion. The suspect stated that his goal was only to scare a colleague with whom he had a conflict, and he did not plan to cause harm.
According to police, the vehicle suffered mechanical damage due to the incident. The defendant faces up to 7 years in prison.
On October 5, Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi announced that public transport had been suspended in Lviv in western Ukraine after explosions rang out in the city. It was clarified that because of this, flight delays were possible.
