Poland has long been engaged in destructive work aimed at undermining and destroying the very essence of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). This was announced on October 6 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.

"Official Warsaw has been conducting destructive activities for a long time to undermine and destroy the very essence of the OSCE," she told TASS.

Zakharova stressed that the organization was created to ensure security and cooperation, but because of NATO's efforts, little remains of these principles.

The diplomat also commented on Poland's recent cancellation of visas for representatives of the Russian Public Institute of Electoral Law (ROIIP), who were supposed to participate in the OSCE conference in Warsaw.

The day before, it was reported that Poland had cancelled the visas of the ROIIP representatives who were supposed to participate in the OSCE conference. As the organization noted, the letter with this decision was sent without "specifying the motives and grounds for making such a decision" on the last working day before the start of the conference.
