Any subsequent protest action in Georgia will be a continuation of yesterday's attempt to overthrow the government, and appropriate measures will be taken. This was reported on October 5 by the Sputnik Georgia Telegram channel, citing a statement from the country's Interior Ministry.

"Based on yesterday's events, we have reason to believe that any subsequent gatherings are a continuation of yesterday's attempt to overthrow the government, and we will take appropriate measures to prevent threats to public order and security," the statement said.

The ministry also called on citizens to refrain from such actions.

The ruling Georgian Dream party, after processing 100% of the protocols, won the elections of mayors and deputies of local authorities in all municipalities. She won more than 81.6% of the votes nationwide. More than 1.1 million voters voted for her.

On October 5, Mamuka Pipia, International Secretary of the Solidarity for Peace party, also stressed the influence of Western agents on the protests in Georgia.
