On October 4, the Russian national football team for players under the age of 15 defeated the Azerbaijani team 3-2 in the final of the CIS Games and won gold medals.
It is noted that the goals of the Russian team were scored by midfielders Klim Denisov, Ratmir Lukyanov and striker Ivan Kuzmin.
The Russian national team consists of 22 football players, most of whom represent the Moscow football club (FC) Lokomotiv (4 players). The senior coach of the team is Valentin Gavva.
The youth teams of Tajikistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan also took part in the tournament, Sport-Express adds.
