Rescuers found two climbers on the Vilyuchinsky volcano in Kamchatka, and a third is currently being searched. Sergey Lebedev, Minister of Emergency Situations of the Kamchatka Territory, told about this on October 4.

"Rescuers have reached two victims. They're looking for a third one. The rescue operation continues. The main group is rising," he noted on his VKontakte account.

According to the main regional directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, one of the tourists injured on the Vilyuchinsky volcano died. The girl who fell off with him is in serious condition.

"Four rescuers remain next to her. Two more rescuers continue to search for the third participant of the ascent, who is located higher up the slope," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

In addition, as noted by the Ministry of Health of the Kamchatka Territory, doctors also climbed the mountain on foot to the stranded climbers.

The doctors provided them with all the necessary first aid.
