The former assistant to the President of the United States described the option of resolving the conflict in Ukraine

The conflict on the territory of Ukraine cannot be resolved by signing a single agreement, as this is a matter of ensuring the security of the whole of Europe. This opinion was expressed on October 4 by Thomas Graham, a researcher at the American Council on Foreign Relations and former assistant to the President of the United States.

In a conversation with RBC, he said that first Ukraine and Russia need to agree on the basic principles of settlement. This may be followed by negotiations on a final solution to the Ukrainian crisis and the establishment of relations between Russia and Western countries.
