Air defense systems prevented an attempted attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kstovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was announced on October 2 by Governor Gleb Nikitin.

"Specialists are working at the crash site. According to preliminary data, there are no casualties," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the region did not provide any other details about the incident.
