The HRC called the non-attendance of schools by migrant children unacceptable

Head of the Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC) On October 2, Valery Fadeev stressed that the situation in which migrant children do not attend school is unacceptable.

"There are problems with children. There is no exact figure, but several hundred thousand migrant children do not study in Russia. This is an unacceptable situation. Both the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the Constitution of Uzbekistan rigidly assume that all children should study. This is a great conquest of civilization. Their parents are responsible for the education of children," Fadeev said at a round table dedicated to improving the migration policy of the CIS, as quoted by TASS.
