Kirill Dmitriev, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Investment and Economic Cooperation with Foreign countries and head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), said this on October 1.

"The United States has stopped determining the growth of the world economy. These are mainly India and China. The negative comments [from the United States] against India and China only weaken the US position," he said at the annual meeting of the Valdai International discussion Club.

He also stressed that Russia is strengthening cooperation with India and China, calling these three countries "centers of economic power."
