The State Duma told about the new laws coming into force in October
Starting in October, Russia will introduce new measures to support participants in the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on September 30 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to him, the norms will be aimed at supporting Russian military personnel.
"The protection of the labor rights of military personnel is being strengthened — after completing their service, they will be able to take the necessary time to recover without the risk of losing their job (entered into force on September 29); volunteers will have the opportunity to receive military ranks without undergoing military training," Volodin wrote on the Telegram channel.
He also noted that salaries of military personnel and employees of individual law enforcement agencies will be indexed by 7.6%, and pensions of military retirees will increase.
"Our task is to support those who protect the country and ensure its security," Volodin stressed.
In addition, self-employed citizens and representatives of small and medium-sized businesses will now be able to take advantage of credit holidays.
