On September 1, new rules for mandatory labeling of phone calls came into force, which, according to the association of research companies 7/89 Group, may cause the mass closure of call centers in Russia. Already 18 such centers, located in Perm, Novosibirsk, Tomsk and Vladimir, have stopped their work. This was reported on September 29 by the Vedomosti newspaper, referring to copies of documents at the disposal of the editorial office.

It is noted that the appeals to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev were signed by 46 members of the association, representing more than 4 thousand employees of survey call centers. The 7/89 Group, which unites companies from 32 cities across the country, controls 55% of all telephone surveys in Russia, including work for government and private clients.
