Designer and blogger Artemy Lebedev urged Russians to be frugal and live within their means.

"For ordinary people, of course, the advice is simple — to live within your means and not spend too much. And then maybe it will come in handy for something else," he said on September 26 on the VKontakte social network.

In particular, Lebedev advised Russians not to take out loans for the newest smartphone model. As a more moderate alternative, he suggested considering less expensive phone models.

The designer also emphasized the importance of adjusting family budgets and forming a financial cushion. In his opinion, one of the ways to save money may be to open a bank deposit.
