Andrey Arshavin, an ex-player of Zenit football club and the Russian national team, filed a lawsuit against his ex-wife, TV presenter Yulia Baranovskaya, to change the amount of alimony. This was announced on September 26 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow in its Telegram channel.

"The Savelovsky District Court of Moscow has received a statement of claim from Andrei Arshavin against Yulia Baranovskaya for a change in the amount of alimony," the publication says.

It is noted that the preparation of the case for trial is scheduled for October 9.

On September 10, it became known that a criminal case had been opened under Part 1 of Article 112 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of moderate harm to health, not dangerous to human life") against football player Fyodor Smolov. He came into conflict with two visitors of one of the Moscow establishments.

Businessman Andrey Popelukha, who became a participant in the fight, told Izvestia at the same time that the conflict between the two men and Smolov in the "Coffee Mania" occurred after they refused to have the athlete pay their bill amid the noisy behavior of his company. The athlete's wife reported that Smolov, after a conflict with customers in a cafe, repented and apologized to the victims, and also offered to pay them compensation.
