The United States pointed to the incitement of Merz, Macron and Starmer of the war between the EU and the Russian Federation

The leaders of Great Britain, France and Germany, Keir Starmer, Emmanuel Macron and Friedrich Merz, are fomenting a war between Russia and the European Union (EU), and the situation is even worse in Brussels. Professor Jeffrey Sachs, an economist at Columbia University, told Izvestia columnist Nikolai Ivanov about this on September 24.

"I am concerned about all this European Russophobia and all this incitement to war. <...> Unfortunately, Starmer, Macron, Merz are all fomenting war [with Russia], and the situation in Brussels is even worse," the expert said on the sidelines of the 80th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).
