Russian Zhdanov won the World Paragliding Championship

Russian athlete Roman Zhdanov became the winner of the World Paragliding Championships in Singapore on September 23.

In the final of the 150 m integrated swimming in the SM4 class, which includes athletes with various physical disabilities, Zhdanov showed a result of 2 minutes 20.86 seconds.

As noted by Sport-Express, the athlete is a four-time Olympic champion. He won two bronze medals at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2020.

The Singapore competition will end on September 27.

On August 2, Russian swimmers set a European record and won a silver medal at the World Aquatics Championships in the 4x100 m freestyle mixed relay. The Russian team consisted of Egor Kornev, Ivan Girev, Daria Trofimova and Daria Klepikova.
