In Ukraine, a man opened fire on police officers while checking their documents
In the village of Sandy Brod in the Kirovograd region of Ukraine, a man opened fire while checking documents and wounded two policemen. This was announced on September 20 by the press service of the national police of the country.
"As a result of the shooting, the head of the SRPP (patrol police response sector. — Ed.) received a gunshot wound to the stomach, and his partner was wounded in the arm," the department's Telegram channel says.
After the shooting, the man disappeared. A search is currently underway for him.
Earlier, on August 13, a man opened fire on employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, an analogue of the military enlistment office in Ukraine) in Kiev-controlled Zaporizhia. It is specified that, according to information from social networks, the shooter was detained, the employee of the shopping mall was not injured.
