In Russia, 63% of women, and only 37% of men. The relevant information follows their results from a study by the analytical company Civixplorer, published on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

It is specified that the study is based on data for 2024.

In addition to Russia, there were more women than men in the USA (52.7% vs. 47.3%), Brazil (53.3% vs. 46.7%), Bangladesh (53.8% vs. 46.2%), Mexico (54.4% vs. 45.6%), Japan (55.5% vs. 44.5%), Germany (52.3% versus 47.7%) and Thailand (55% versus 45%).

Earlier, on July 14, Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking about the demographic situation on the territory of the state, recalled the lines about ten girls and nine guys from the Soviet song "The girls are standing". He also called them irrelevant today. As noted by Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, slightly more boys were born in 2024 than girls.
