American leader Donald Trump plans to meet with the President of the Syrian Arab Republic (SAR) for the transitional period, Ahmed al-Sharaa, and the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky. This was reported on September 20 by The Wall Street Journal (WSJ), citing sources.

"The White House is working to schedule Trump's bilateral talks with world leaders such as Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa and <...> Vladimir Zelensky," the material says.

It is expected that the President of the United States may also meet with Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) Antonio Guterres for the first time in his second term.

Earlier, on September 16, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio admitted that Trump could hold a meeting with Zelensky next week in New York. He noted that the American president had several telephone conversations and meetings with Zelensky.
