The Moscow Marathon <...> is not just a running event, it is a gigantic urban project involving more than 50,000 people," said Dmitry Tarasov, director of the Moscow Marathon.

According to him, a 10 km race is taking place in Moscow on September 20. Tarasov noted that Russian champions and foreign athletes will join the marathon.

The race takes place along the central streets of the city, including the embankments of the Moskva River, Sadovoye and Bulvarnoe rings, the Crimean Bridge, Tverskaya Street and Teatralny Passage. Participants of the marathon can see the most famous sights of the city: Stalin's skyscrapers, the Bolshoi Theater, the FSB building, the Kremlin and the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
