- Khusnullin pointed out that there are no risks due to the postponement of housing commissioning in the Russian Federation.
On September 18, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced that as part of anti-crisis measures, the Russian authorities had allowed developers to postpone the start-up of housing.
According to him, about 20% of developers have delays in housing commissioning.
"But this is not because something is not technically ready there. Today, the system is built in such a way that the less funds are collected in escrow accounts, the higher the rate. Therefore, as an anti—crisis measure, we really allowed developers to shift the commissioning period slightly to the right in order to ensure that the houses are completed," Khusnullin explained, as quoted by RIA Novosti.
He also added that the situation is under constant monitoring, and there are currently no grounds for concern.
Earlier, on September 18, Khusnullin said that new technologies in the construction sector appear in Russia every year, and their integration into production takes place very quickly. In addition, the Deputy Prime Minister called the increase in labor productivity a key task, which, in his opinion, cannot be realized without the introduction of new developments.
