The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow granted the appeal of the prosecutor's office and banned resources for the sale of African ostriches, servals, giraffes and other exotic animals. This was stated on September 17 in the case file, which was reviewed by Izvestia.

It is clarified that the resources with ads for the sale of animals were in Russian. By buying some animals, it was possible to arrange home delivery.

The court's ruling says that keeping such animals is allowed only in zoos, circuses or zoo gardens. It is noted that animals should be kept in semi-free conditions or in an artificially created habitat.

On August 5, the fact of illegal keeping of wild animals was established in one of the private households in the city of Kizlyar. Then the tiger cub was transferred for temporary maintenance to a specialized nursery based on the Glavryba ecotourist complex, and a lion was also seized.
