In the Leningrad region, three empty freight wagons derailed. This was announced on September 14 by the Telegram channel of the governor of the region Alexander Drozdenko.

"According to updated data, a diesel locomotive with 15 empty tanks derailed," he wrote.

According to the head of the region, sappers are working on the spot. Due to the incident, trains on the Siverskaya–Luga section were canceled, and delays in the movement of long-distance freight and passenger trains are also possible.
