The political situation in Poland has become extremely uncertain after the drone incident, which demonstrated the vulnerability of NATO in the matter of security. This was reported on September 13 by the Austrian newspaper Kurier.

"The incident with 19 drones piercing Polish airspace clearly showed the insufficiency of NATO's defenses," the article says.

The publication clarifies that weapons experts have long been raising the issue of creating a drone protection system along the eastern border of the North Atlantic Alliance. However, at the moment, no NATO country has implemented such a defense system.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on September 10 called the incident with the appearance of several drones in the skies over the republic a large-scale provocation. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on the same day that Russia regularly faces unsubstantiated accusations of provocations from Western countries.

Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, speaking at a meeting of the UN Security Council on September 12, noted Kiev's attempts to expand the geography of the conflict by involving new states in it. He noted that EU representatives, without waiting for official conclusions, rushed to make loud statements about Moscow's alleged involvement in the incident.
