Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced on September 13 that the country's ground-based air defense systems had been put on high alert.
"Due to the threat posed by Russian drones operating over Ukraine near the border, the Polish and allied Air Forces have launched preventive operations in Polish airspace," he wrote on the social network X.
