Degtyarev announced the preparation of a lawsuit to the CAS on the non-admission of bobsledders to competitions

Lawyers of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) are preparing a lawsuit to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in connection with the decision of the Congress of the International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation (IBSF), which decided not to allow Russian athletes to participate in tournaments under the auspices of the organization in the 2025/26 season. This was announced on September 12 by the Minister of Sports of the Russian Federation Mikhail Degtyarev.

The IBSF Congress was held on Friday in Milan.

"Lawyers of the Russian Olympic Committee are already preparing a claim to the CAS. We will defend our rights in court in the same way as we do in support of our luge athletes," TASS quoted Degtyarev as saying.
