The father of the child who got into the database of the Peacemaker website commented on the situation.

The family life of two-year-old Platon Burchenkov, who was included in the database of the Ukrainian extremist website Mirotvorets, has not changed in any way after being included in this list. His father Ivan told Izvestia about this on September 12.

"A journalist called me yesterday and said that my child is on the list of a "Peacemaker." I reacted to it as coldly as possible. I don't really care. My life has not changed from this in any way," Burchenkov said.

Burchenkov notes that he does not see this as a threat, adding that it is "really funny" to him that his almost three-year-old child could pose any danger.

"He doesn't pose any threat for sure. As well as not only him, but also our whole family. Therefore, I have no threat, no reaction to this reason," he concluded.

Ivan Burchenkov also shared the details of his personal life. He was born in Stanytsia Luhanska and graduated from the Lugansk Sports boarding school. In 2014, he moved to Russia, arriving at the seaside and deciding to stay in Krasnodar. Burchenkov is a KMS in pentathlon and a master of sports in fencing. He is a 20-time winner of the Krasnodar Territory and a five-time champion of the Southern Federal District.

According to Burchenkov, he is a family man. He has a wife and two children: the younger Platon, who is two years old, and the elder Maxim, who is eight years old.

Earlier that day, it became known that the boy, who was born in January 2023, was added to the database of the Peacemaker website. According to the portal, Platon Burchenkov allegedly deliberately violated the state border of Ukraine, as well as encroached on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country.
