The experiment, in which students take only two subjects on the OGE in a number of Russian regions, will be continued in the 2025/2026 academic year. This was announced on September 12 by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov held a meeting at which the results of the experiment on expanding the availability of secondary vocational education in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Lipetsk region were summed up.

"During the meeting, it was decided to continue the experiment in the next academic year," the agency said in a statement quoted by RIA Novosti.

Earlier, on August 21, Elena Provozen, Director of educational product development at the MAXIMUM educational company, said that the structure of exams in most subjects within the framework of the OGE-2026 remains the same, but clarifications and some adjustments are being introduced in several disciplines.

For example, assignments in the discipline "Russian language" are now formulated with detailed answers using a problematic question. In addition, no more than two logical errors are allowed in these tasks without loss of points. In a reasoning essay, where it is necessary to justify one's own opinion, it is now required to use the proposed text for argumentation.
